This night will feature multiple DJs from the city of Pittsburgh as well as DJs from across the country. Month 006 features two residents from Dissolv, and we have heard through the grapevine that there will be some heavy techno in rotation for this evening. 😤
Polterheist, the offspring and alias of Nick Somma, has been active in Pittsburgh since 2013 and currently finds himself as a co-owner at the helm of Dissolv. Starting with heavy influences of bass music his sound has evolved over the years into a deep library of both hypnotic and menacing techno. Capable of finding a home warming up the night or banging it out at peak hours, his sets seek to move your feet while taking you away from the world around you.
bird, also known as Kris Verderber, has been performing in and around the greater Pittsburgh area since his move to Pittsburgh back in 2013. As Co-Founder and Operator of Dissolv, Kris began his DJ career shortly before his move from Ohio, and now finds his spare time dedicated to running the premier sound/party camp at Frostburn every winter, as well as helping create the vision that Dissolv aims to achieve through bringing underground house and techno artists to the area. While holding close his love for both the melodic and industrial side of electronic music, bird’s sounds tend to encompass the darker areas of house and techno. No matter where his set goes, bird’s sounds are a surefire way to get the dark corners of the dance floor moving.
